Competition Terms and Conditions

1. NO ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT OR PURCHASE NECESSARY: The Edifier iPod Alarm Clock Competition entry begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Saving Time (EDST) on January 18, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDST on January 31, 2009 (the “Entry Period”).

2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the “Edifier iPod Alarm Clock Competition” via the Internet, you may access the entry form at www.holidaytips.com.au follow all instructions to locate and complete the online entry form. All required fields on the registration form must be filled and completed. 

All mass entries or reproductions are disqualified. (Sponsor) is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, illegible or incomplete entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by the Service Provider on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at the Service Providers website or any combination thereof. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. All entries are the property of Holidaytips.com.au. Holidaytips.com.au reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates the rules or tampers with the promotion or the web site. Holidaytips.com.au reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the entire promotion at any time. If promotion is terminated for any reason, notice will be promptly posted at www.holidaytips.com.au

3. ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to any living persons, located in Australia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Holidaytips.com.au, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate families of each are not eligible to enter. Proof of identity will be required prior to delivery of prize.

4. WINNER: Potential prize winner will be selected by the Editor of Holidaytips.com.au on the basis of their entries. The Editors decision is final and no correspondence will be considered.  Potential Prize winners will be notified, by telephone and or email during the week beginning February 1 to February 7, 2009. If for any reason Holidaytips.com.au is unable to contact a potential winner, the Prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Prize winner grants permission to have their name and address (city and state only)* used for Holidaytips.com.au and Advertiser’s advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. * For example: Mr. John Smith, Vermont, Victoria.

5. PRIZES: The prize winner is entitled to one Edifier iPod Alarm Clock, one Mr Men Alarm clock and one copy of Good Food Guide. Postage within Australia is included in the prize. No support is offered on the Edifier iPod Alarm Clock or the Mr Men Alarm Clock. 

6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By entering or accepting a prize in this competition, winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and to comply with all federal and state laws and regulations. There are no prize substitutions, transfers or cash equivalents permitted. Entry into this competition constitutes permission to use winner’s name and address (city and state only – see above) for advertising and publicity purposes for this or similar promotions without further compensation. By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Holidaytips.com.au and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, lawyers, employees and agents from any and all damage, injury, death, loss, misfortune or other liability of any kind that may arise from or in connection with his or her acceptance of the prize, possession or use of the prize, or his or her participation in this competition or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded.

7. WHO WON: Following the editors’ decision, Prize winner’s name(s) will be posted on Holidaytips.com.au at the following address: http://www.holidaytips.com.au/index.php/competitions/competition-entries/

8. MARKETING DISCLOSURES: Give-Away entrants will automatically be enrolled to receive the Holidaytips.com.au e-mail newsletter which has Holiday Tips news, reviews and more. Your entry constitutes your acceptance to be included on our e-mail newsletter data base. This subscription is at no cost and you can unsubscribe at anytime by either clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail newsletter or by sending us an e-mail (editor@holidaytips.com.au) making this request.

From time to time, we allow our sponsors to make targeted, relevant offers to our readers via our email system. All such offers are approved by Holidaytips.com.au as to their content.  Holidaytips.com.au will not sell, rent or give your details to any other party. Our goal is to foster good will between us, our present customers and those in the future.
