All Seasons Eco Resort Phillip Island

The Cafe
If you have been to Phillip Island in the last few months, you will have noticed the sprawling All Seasons Eco Resort on your right as you head into Cowes. The 64 acre site which opened in 2007, offers 198 villas, a cafe, pizzeria, pool, gymnasium, kids club, spa and sauna. We visited The Cafe for a meal on a Friday evening just after 6pm. Your first impressions often depend on how you are greeted. On this visit we got the old, “what are you doing here” attitude. Maybe because we hadn’t made a booking, who knows. Anyway, after straining out whether or not we would receive a discount with the Advantage Plus card, and how much it would be, a table was organised.
Once they warmed up the staff were actually very friendly, and even asked if we would like the children’s meals brought out first. We always appreciate it when waiters consider children - makes everything much more enjoyable for everyone. The children’s meals arrived in around fifteen minutes while we waited just over an hour for ours - a bit long considering there were only about sixteen people in the cafe.

The Food
The food was well worth the wait. We had the Vegetable Stack and the Chicken Risotto, both superbly presented and absolutely mouth wateringly delicious. Our meals - two adult mains and two kids meals - came to a total of $48.00 after our Advantage Plus discount. Overall - great value for money!

The Cafe is fairly intimate, with dining on the verandah an option. The decor is modern with some nice accents, light fittings made of old bicycle rims and fencing wire were a stand-out. There is a Pizzeria next door that offers a special between 6pm & 7pm that includes one regular and two gourmet pizzas and soft drink for $30. We didn’t have time to try it this visit, but it smelt pretty good.
